The following Terms & Conditions apply to all work carried out by Urban Coat. By accepting a quote or allowing work to proceed, you agree to these terms.
Quotes & acceptance
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Pricing is based on the information available at the time of quoting and may change if site conditions differ from those originally assessed.
Acceptance of a quote may be verbal, written, or implied by allowing work to commence.
Surface conditions
The performance and appearance of epoxy flooring depends on the condition of the existing concrete.
Issues such as moisture, cracks, contamination, previous coatings, or poor substrate quality may affect the final result.
If unforeseen issues are identified during preparation, available options will be discussed before continuing.
Colour selection
Colours shown on this website or other digital material are a guide only.
Final colour and finish may vary due to lighting conditions, surface preparation, application method, and screen settings.
All colour systems are supplied by All Purpose Coatings.
Physical samples can be provided where available to assist with final colour selection.
Variations
Any changes requested after work has commenced may result in additional costs or time extensions.
All variations will be discussed and approved before proceeding.
Curing times & access
Epoxy coatings require specific curing times.
The coated area must remain free from foot traffic, vehicles, moisture, or contamination during the advised curing period.
Urban Coat is not responsible for defects caused by early use or interference during curing.
Payment
Payment terms will be outlined in your quote or invoice.
Full payment is required upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Warranty
A workmanship warranty applies as outlined in your quote or invoice.
Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, impact damage, chemical exposure, misuse, lack of maintenance, moisture issues, or substrate movement.
Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials where applicable.
Cancellations
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee to cover scheduling and preparation costs.
Deposits, where paid, are non-refundable once materials have been ordered.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Urban Coat’s liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.
Urban Coat is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
